Hollie Frederick

Dance Instructor

Hollie received her Bachelor’s degree in Dance Pedagogy from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2009 and thoroughly enjoys passing her passion for dance onto her students. She began dancing at an early age and soon became equally skilled in gymnastics. Her dance teams have won both state and national competitions. She is experienced in ballet, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, and modern. Hollie has studied under Demetrius Klein, renowned modern dancer and choreographer, Eileen Hebron, a former company member of American Ballet Theatre known for technical excellence, and Jin Young Lee, former scholarship recepient at the Merce Cunningham School in New York City. While participating in PBAU’s Dance Ensemble, she performed in numerous works, including several solos and duets in both student and faculty pieces. Hollie was chosen to perform “Scenes from a Septet,” a work by celebrated modern dancer and choreographer, Merce Cunningham, as part of a grant awarded to PBA’s dance department in 2009. Since the completion of her degree she has performed with Aerial Experience, an internationally known production company, and Anna Preston and Dancers, a local dance company in West Palm. She has choreographed and performed in various events such as Spectrum of Hope, Ad Deum Summer Dance Intensive, and The Singing Christmas Tree. Hollie is an ABT Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT National Training¬†Curriculum.¬†Hollie looks forward to continuing her education as an artist and teacher.
